In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, The Winter Raiders side quest becomes available after completing the main storyline. To start it, go to the village of Gobo in the Kii region and talk to Rin. She will lead you to the village elder, who will tell you about the threat from a group of raiders terrorizing the area in winter. Your goal is to find and eliminate five members of this gang.
The peculiarity of the quest is that in winter each raider is in a separate location:
- Yasha is located in Kawakami, Yamato region.
- Hayate is located near the Iseiji trails in the Kii region.
- Akumu is camping on the Nakakechi trail in the Kii region.
- Sobei – is hiding in the village of Gobo, Kii region.
- Jinbei – is located in the Sandanbeki Cave, Kii region.
If you are trying to complete the quest at a different time of year, all five raiders are gathered together in Sandanbeki Cave, which makes it much more difficult to fight them all at the same time.
Upon successful completion of the quest, you will receive significant rewards:
- 5500 experience
- Skills: Feral Frenzy for Naoe and Ultimate Onslaught for Yasuke
- Epic equipment: each raider leaves behind unique weapons and engravings
- Coins and letters that reveal plot details
This quest is recommended for high-level players, as the enemies are strong and well guarded. Completing the task in winter allows you to avoid a simultaneous battle with all raiders, which makes the passage more strategic.
