To start the Genzaburo’s Soldiers quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you need to talk to Koshiro. He can be found at the Kyokaiji Temple in the Harima region. After the conversation, Genzaburo’s Soldiers Organization will appear on your quest board. There are 5 targets in total that you need to destroy. In the video, I will show you how to find each target and what additional quests you need to complete.

Genzaburo Scout AC Shadows

The first target you need to find is Genzaburo Scout AC Shadows. He is in Tamba, south of the Silver Lands marker, near Maruyama Shitsugen. He will be alone playing a flute, so go behind him and perform an assassination. The fight is not difficult. You can take away most of Genzaburo’s Scout’s health by throwing your kunai at him.

Then you need to defeat your opponent in direct combat. If this battle is difficult for you, be sure to find a link in the comments to a very simple and effective build for Naoe that will help you defeat any enemy in the game. When you defeat Genzaburo Scout AC Shadows, you will see that your quest board has been updated and information about a new target has appeared there.

Genzaburo Swordsman location

Next Genzaburo Swordsman location. He can be found in the Harima region. He is northwest of Engyoji on the bridge near Nagusano Falls. Stealthily go behind him and perform an assassination. You might be able take away half his health. To damage this target, you will need to remove his armor.

You can use your skills to quickly break through his armor and defeat him. You can use your kunai for headshots to defeat him at a distance. After victory, the task board will be updated.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Eavesdrop on the shrine maidens

To find information about the next target, you need to complete the additional quest Assassin’s Creed Shadows Eavesdrop on the shrine maidens. It’s easy to do. At the specified location, climb to the top of the building and eavesdrop on what the two girls are talking about. Now you can move on to finding the target.

Assassinate Genzaburo Teppo Expert

Your third target is Assassinate Genzaburo Teppo Expert. He can be found in the Kaya Shrine, west of Mount Kasaata. Try to sneak up on Genzaburo’s Teppo Expert unnoticed so you can deal significant damage with your kunai. Then you will have to engage in direct combat with the enemy. He will shoot at you with his Teppo, so you need to dodge in time.

An additional complication will be the large number of other soldiers who will come to your enemy’s aid if you fight him for too long. Therefore, use your best build to quickly finish the job and move on to the next target.

Track down the poisoner AC Shadows

You will need to find the poisoner. To do this, you need to complete the additional quest Track Down the Poisoner AC Shadows. Follow the coordinates and track the goal on the map. Follow the child who is running after the children have finished talking. Talk to him and you’ll see an entrance to Nishinomaru Garden just ahead.

Genzaburo Poisoner AC Shadows

Your target is Genzaburo Poisoner AC Shadows. She is sitting in the center of the garden on a stone and playing a musical instrument. There are many soldiers around who will attack you if you start fighting her directly. Therefore, I advise you to go into invisible mode, make your way through the bushes to the place I show in the video, and throw your kunai at Genzaburos Poisoner AC Shadows.

Of course, you won’t defeat him with one throw, but the enemy will run up to you and you will be able to complete your task with an additional kunai throw. Now look at the task board, the last target remains.

Talk to Koshiro AC Shadows

To find the location of the last target, you need to complete the additional quest Talk to Koshiro AC Shadows. There is nothing special here. I have shown you where he is. It is a typical dialogue, of which there have been many in this game. Then you will see that your quest board has been updated and you can find the last target of the Genzaburo’s Soldiers quest.

Confront Genzaburo location

Your final goal in this quest is Confront Genzaburo location. Here you will need your ability to fight in direct combat without using stealth attacks. Genzaburo is in the northeast of Himeji at the Zuinganji Temple. You can’t kill him, because you have to face him. After you have finished speaking with Genzaburo the fight will begin. He is not to be underestimated because of his age.

He will be the most difficult target. Beware of his dual ichimonji attacks followed by dual blade strikes. You can parry all of them, but because it’s a series of attacks, you have to parry one after another. Genzaburo also performs unparryable strikes, but he will mostly use the ichimonji strike. This quest is now complete.
