Dragon Age Veilguard, the fourth installment in BioWare’s renowned RPG series continues the story following the events of Dragon Age Inquisition. The game was released in 2024 on October 31st and is centered around the journey of Rook who is trying save the world Tevas from ancient elven deities who have been released because of the breaking of a veil between worlds.
Plot and characters
Rook is a character which can be tailored by selecting a race, a class and a backstory. Ruk and his seven companions each with their own story and abilities face the ancient elven deities Elgar’nan, and Gil’nan. The plot is centered around Tevas and Tevinter, as well as the ancient elven ruin of Arlatan.
In the game, players are faced with difficult decisions that can affect the future of the world, the fates of their allies and the course of history. At crucial moments, a player can decide which city to save, or how to handle the betrayal by key characters. These decisions can have a significant impact on the game’s outcome.
