This is one of the most unusual tasks in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To start the quest, you need to talk to Kennyo. Hunters of Kyonyo – how to find targets and complete the mission? I’ll show you – quickly and without confusion.

So, regardless of how you obtained the Hunters of Kyonyo quest, you must assassinate five targets during the quest. These are Inumaru, Kamakichi, Shishi-o, Toro, and Tsuchi-Gumo.  I also recommend watching the video, which explains everything in more detail.

Inumaru Location

The first target is Inumaru, who is easy to find, and I have marked his location on the map for you. In my case, one throw of the kunai was enough to neutralize the target. It depends on your build. But even a direct battle with this enemy will not be difficult for you. So let’s move on to finding the next target.

To do this, you first need to complete the additional quest Find the spy’s hideout. I have marked the place you need to go on the map. You need to enter the room and read the three letters inside. Then you will receive complete information on where to find Kamakichi.

Kamakichi Location

Let’s go find this character. The task is simple and straightforward: you need to assassinate Kamakichi. I’ve marked the place where you can find him on the map. Interestingly, our target is also hunting for his prey and is currently hiding in the bushes, trying to remain invisible. But it’s impossible to hide from us. We find the target and start the fight. This enemy is not difficult either, but other enemies will come to his aid, so try to complete your task quickly, and then you can safely flee the battlefield. The main thing is to destroy Kamakichi; the other enemies are not important.

To be able to take out the next target, you also need to complete an additional quest. This time, you need to Talk to Kyonyo. You can find this character, who is being hunted by an entire group, on the grounds of Saika Temple. This is enemy territory. Your target is hiding in an underground basement. You need to find the entrance to this basement, which you can reach using your shinobi skills. Of course, we destroy all enemies along the way and try to remain inconspicuous.

Shishi-o Location

Now you can get the location of the third target. It’s Shishi-o. I’ve marked where to find him on the map. When you approach the indicated location, you will see that there are people near Shishi-o, but when the fight starts, they will all run away. Your opponent will fight you one-on-one. Therefore, this target is again considered easy. Next is a very interesting and unusual task. It may take quite a long time to complete this task. I’ll explain everything in order. First, you need to talk to the guard. I’ll show you where to find him on the map. After that, your task board will update and you will receive the next task.

You need to talk to the head monk. You can find him in the Monk’s District. An assassination attempt is planned on this monk, and he knows about it. But in order to lure the enemy out, you need to disperse the guards and lure him into an ambush. It is very important to know that Toro, who is your target, only goes hunting at night. You need to wait until night falls in the game, and only then will you be able to complete this task.

Come to the building at night and you will receive a new task: Set up the ambush. It’s actually quite simple: you need to extinguish the four lamps that illuminate the surrounding area. After that, Toro will appear near the house. After you turn off all 4 lights, you will receive a new task on your task board. Only now is the fourth target available, and you can assassinate it.

Wait for the right moment and go outside the house to catch Toro by surprise and neutralize him. In my case, I approached him from behind, and he didn’t have time to notice me before the target was neutralized. Now you can look at the Hunters of Kyonyo task board again. You should have defeated 4 targets. There is one left, the main target, and it is the most difficult to reach, although the process itself will be interesting.

The next target also requires some preparation. First, you need to talk to Kyonyo. The location is marked on the map. It’s simple: after the dialogue, you will receive an update to the Hunters of Kyonyo quest board. Now you know the location of the last target, and we will move on to destroying it.

Tsuchi-Gumo Location

Your target is Tsuchi-Gumo. He trains all day long at Akagi Fort. The difficulty of the task lies in the fact that Tsuchi-Gumo is inside the fort and the path to him is limited to a specific route, with other passages blocked by impassable barriers. You need to follow this path using all your shinobi skills.

Hide in hiding places, move across the roof, use kunai to neutralize the enemy. That is, you need to go all the way to the target as inconspicuously as possible. Along the way, you will encounter many enemies, and you must destroy them all so that they do not interfere with you. This is an interesting experience, so I am sure you will enjoy it.
